Catherine Willows, RN, BA, FMC-HC, NBC-HWC is CEO and Founder of Willows Coaching and Consulting, a registered nurse, functional medicine certified health coach, national board-certified health and wellness coach, herbalist, and the former Clinical Services Director of Dr. Mark Hyman’s clinic, the UltraWellness Center.

Since early on, Catherine has been driven by a vision for supporting the evolution and transformation of healthcare to better meet the needs of patients and the quality of their lives.  She has served as a change-agent, creating innovative programs, educating patients and healthcare teams.  During her tenure at the UltraWellness Center, Catherine utilized the systems approach of the Functional Medicine model as the basis to improve operational practices within the clinic and optimize the patient experience. As project manager on the Obesity Prevention Initiatives for the American Academy of Pediatrics, she guided hospitals across Illinois in upgrading healthcare practices to curtail escalating obesity rates.

Catherine is passionate about coaching individuals on their quest to improve their health and live more fulfilling lives. She is equally dedicated to guiding Functional Medicine provider practices in developing efficient and successful clinical operations to optimize the care they deliver. Catherine draws from her training in Functional Medicine, a collection of holistic modalities along with her nursing experience in psychiatry, hospice, home health, OB as a lactation consultant and more. She is currently studying functional nutrition with the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy.

Catherine loves painting, fiber arts, yoga, pilates, gardening and the great outdoors. In the warm weather months, you might find her hiking through the hills of the Berkshires with her two Australian shepherds, or strolling through the farmer’s market, collecting fresh vegetables and flowers.
