Reflecting upon 2021: What were your greatest discoveries?

In times of great transition such as these, Life gives you golden nuggets to be harvested to help guide you into your future. If you are attentive enough to see them, they can be a beacon for where you need to go next.

While you may frequently practice gratitude, I invite you to also peer into the past 12 months and consider your greatest discoveries in 2021. Often times this can pass us by without a thought. Yet, in bringing them to conscious consideration, you might find some useful information to help guide you into the future weeks and months to come. Consider these questions:

  • What have you discovered about yourself and the people close to you?
  • What have you discovered about your life as you’ve been living it?
  • What have you discovered about that which nurtures your soul and brings out the best in you?
  • What have you discovered about what’s important to you and how has that changed you this year?

I can say for myself, this has been a year of huge revelations. The world has shifted and as a new entrepreneur in the midst of a pandemic and accelerating climate change, I have learned, grown and stretched in ways previously unimaginable. If there was ever a time in which I discovered what I didn’t know I didn’t know, this was the year! While it has deepened my humility and my sense of humor (sometimes you have to laugh with it too!), it also has strengthened my resilience, confidence and resourcefulness…for all of which, I am extremely grateful!

I invite you to reflect upon your year too and as you release what has passed, consider your greatest discoveries with gratitude, allowing them to become the seeds for your New Year.

There is no greater journey than the one that you must take to discover all of the mysteries that lie within you.
